ZDF Latest in ‘Race Across the World’
A six-part series inspired by Studio Lambert Race all over the world It is scheduled to air on German Pubcaster channel ZDF in the spring of 2025. Casting and filming are being planned for the fall, with All3Media’s German producer, Tower, attached to produce the show. Kirsten Benthaus-Gebauer will be the producer, and Frederik Heidke, Johannes Geiger, Thorsten Haas, and Daniel Nemechek will edit. The BBC original show had strong ratings in the UK for three seasons and one celebrity series. New seasons of both versions were commissioned after the first episode of Celebrity attracted 6.2 million viewers, cementing the show’s place among the BBC’s top factual programmes. The German deal, struck with distributor All3Media International, marks the fifth international edition of the show, and comes after three seasons on TV2 in Denmark, an upcoming production on MTV Katsomo and MTV3 in Finland, and three seasons in the Netherlands on RTL. The format follows competing teams of two who are tasked with finding fast and inexpensive routes across countries and climates without the need for smartphones, Internet access, or credit cards.

UKTV drama of Union Stories I, Jack Wright added the cast. Launch of the Macau International Short Film Festival programme
Exclusive: The Macau International Short Film Festival has revealed its program, which will be divided into four sections. Advisors include TIFF Head of Short Form Programming Jason Anderson); Shen Yang, curator and producer of Chinese titles Wild Geese Lake And The long day’s journey into night“Al-Amin”; and the Thai actress Ukbap Chutimun (Bad genius). The International Advisory Board is chaired by Gaia Forer, Artistic Director of Venice Days. The festival, which is jointly organized by the Macau Cultural Affairs Office and Galaxy Entertainment Group, will be held in Macau this month from March 23 to 30. It aims to raise the status of short films.
DLT buys voice-over agency
Donald Taffner Jr.’s DLT Entertainment has purchased Fuller Voices, a UK-based voiceover company which has rebranded as Bedford Square Voices (BSV). This comes shortly after Becky Fuller exited Fuller Voices, seeing DLT CEO and Chairman Taffner Jr. He joins BSV’s Board of Directors, which currently includes BSV co-owners Michelle Maybourne and Evan Mulcahy.
