Why is Jillian Michaels expecting massive fallout from the Ozempic craze?

Ozempic is no laughing matter for a comedian. Handler revealed that an “anti-aging doctor” prescribed the medication to her without her realizing what it was.

“I didn’t even know I was in it,” she said during the January 25, 2023, episode of the show. Call her father. “If you want to lose five pounds, that’s fine,” she said.

But while trying the drug, Handler noticed that she didn’t like the way it made her feel.

“I came back from vacation and injected myself with it,” she recalled. “I went to lunch with my girlfriend a few days later, and she said, ‘I don’t really eat anything. “I feel very nauseous, and I’m taking Ozempic.” I said to myself, “I feel kind of nauseous, too.” But I had just come back from Spain and was jet-lagged.”

Eventually, Handler stopped using the medication because it wasn’t medically necessary for her, and she added that she gave the remaining doses to her friends.

“I injected about four or five of my friends with Ozempic, because I realized I didn’t want to use it because it was ridiculous,” she said. “It’s for heavyweights. People come to my house, and I say, ‘Okay, I can see you at one o’clock, I can see you at two o’clock.’
