Who is Joe Kui?
Joe Coy is a comedian who has been performing since 1994. Joseph Glenn Herbert was born in Tacoma, Washington. His mother immigrated from the Philippines, and he spoke about her experiences with anti-Asian racism. After his family moved to Las Vegas, Coy began his career performing improvisation at a local coffee shop.

Coy has one child, Joseph Herbert Jr., from a previous relationship with singer Angie King. Coy told “CBS Mornings” that his son was “by his side” as he prepared for the big night at the Golden Globe Awards, describing the preparation process as a “family affair.”
Coy recently dated Chelsea Handler and was a regular on her talk show, “Chelsea Lately.” The two confirmed their relationship on social media in 2021, but Handler said in a post in 2022 that they had broken up.
