What pilots need to know about the grounding of some Boeing 737 MAX flights

After part of an Alaska Airlines plane broke apart in mid-air, travelers are once again wondering about the safety and future of their flights on the plane. Boeing‘s 737 Max.

The Federal Aviation Administration grounded 171 Boeing MAX 9 planes on Saturday and ordered immediate inspections. The agency said inspections take four to eight hours per aircraft.
