Variety has added more participants to the Entertainment Marketing Summit, including Sue Kroll, head of global marketing at Amazon MGM Studios; Jana Arbanas, Vice Chairman and Head of Communications, Media and Entertainment, Deloitte LLP US; Molly Sims, founder of YSE Beauty, actress, podcast host, producer, and philanthropist; and Tammy Hinault, director of marketing for the National Basketball Association.

The summit is scheduled to be held on April 24 in Los Angeles.

Kroll will engage in a friendly conversation with Cynthia Littleton, co-editor-in-chief of the magazine diverseOn her vision for campaign strategy, having led marketing efforts for films such as “Air,” “Saltburn” and the Oscar-winning film “American Fiction.” She has also led marketing for hit series including “Expats,” “Mr. and Mrs. Smith” and “The Summer I Became Pretty.”

Jana Arbanas, vice chairman and U.S. leader of Deloitte LLP’s Communications, Media & Entertainment practice, will detail the latest trends and insights from Deloitte’s 18th annual Digital Media Trends Study. She will be interviewed by Andrew Wallenstein, President and Chief Media Analyst at Variety Intelligence Platform.

Sims joins the panel discussion “Entrepreneur Hacking the Brand,” which also features Rachel Lindsay, host of The Ringer’s “Higher Learning with Van Lathan”; “Morally Corrupt” Podcast on Spotify; Jemele Hill, host and creator of “Jemele Hill Is Unbothered” and founder of The Unbothered Network; Patti Stanger, entrepreneur and host of “Patti Stanger: Matchmaker”; Shannon Mattingly, head of strategic media partnerships at Instagram; and Gigi Guerra, creative collaboration and influencer marketing at Target.

Hinault joins the panel discussion “Live Events in the Marketing Zeitgeist,” moderated by Jay Tucker, executive director of the Center for Media, Entertainment and Sports at the UCLA Anderson School of Management. The panel will include Tyler Pahl, senior vice president and head of publishing marketing at Activision;
Katherine Kay Ling Frederick, chief marketing officer of the Los Angeles Rams; and Russell Wager, vice president of marketing, Kia America.

In other new highlights, Dennis Ortiz, Principal, Deloitte Consulting LLP, is scheduled to moderate a panel discussion titled “Digital Insights – Marketing for All Platforms,” featuring newly added panelists Brianna McElroy, Head of Global Digital Marketing at Lionsgate; and Paul Suchman, CMO at Audacy.
