What do we know about the plot of season three?

Other than the events centered at another resort at White Lotus Resort… not much. But we do know that the multi-generational group involved in this season includes a patriarch, a corporate executive, an actress, a couple of moms including a country club wife, a misfit, and a yogi.

White promised it would be “big White lotus,” Says Electronic warfare“, “It’s going to be longer, bigger and crazier. I don’t know what people are going to think, but I’m very excited, so at least by my scale, that’s a good thing… I’m very excited about the content of the season.

By “longer”, this could mean more episodes. The first season consists of six episodes, while the second season consists of seven episodes.

For his part, HBO’s Bloys said his reaction to the new scripts was similar to Rothwell’s. “I think Natasha Rothwell was saying in an interview that every script she read, she was gasping out loud. “I would agree with that,” he said after the Emmys in January, adding that he plans to visit Thailand in the spring. “Mike is a really unique, unique voice.” “And I’m excited for people to see what he has in store.”

At the Sundance Film Festival in January, Megan Fahey, who played Daphne Sullivan in Season 2, said that White had an idea for a future episode involving the Sullivan family (Cameron Sullivan Fahey and Theo James) and the newly married Buttons in Season 1, played by Alexandra Daddario and Jake Lassie.

“He (Mike White) once said he’d like to do an episode with Theo, me and the couple from Season 1 — Alex and Jake; ‘The four of us on a boat,'” Fahey told Deadline. Just one episode of that, which would be kind of psychotic. But I’m down.”
