We’re less than 24 hours away from Hollywood’s biggest night, and if you haven’t filled your office or your home Oscars pool, time is running out. But first – check out this week’s review diverse Circle Podcast Awards for some final analysis. Awards expert Clayton Davis, along with Jenelle Reilly, Jaz Tangkai and Michael Schneider, taped into this week’s edition of Mega Roundtable to share their final thoughts on this year’s races. Listen below!

Will Oppenheimer clean up? probably. But how much? As lead actress, who would win the battle of the stones: Lily Gladstone or Emma Stone? Will Barbie choose anything other than the best song?

There are many categories to consider, and this week’s episode delves into the 23 categories, including the lesser-known ones that will make or break your pool.

Christopher Nolan’s blockbuster “Oppenheimer” won all the major guild and industry awards — Golden Globes, Critics Choice, DGA, BAFTA, SAG and PGA — and is the first film to have a “perfect season” since “Argo” (2012). The Universal Pictures biopic may match the record set by 1961’s “West Side Story,” which won 10 awards, the second-most in history.

In the supporting acting categories, Robert Downey Jr. (“Oppenheimer”) and Da’Vine Joy Randolph (“The Holdovers”) lead the pack. The lead acting races are a bit uncertain: Cillian Murphy is the lead thanks to Oppenheimer’s dominance, but don’t count out Paul Giamatti of “The Holdovers” and Jeffrey Wright of “American Fiction.”

In the Best Actress category, Emma Stone’s transformation into a woman with the mind of a child in Yorgos Lanthimos’ Poor Things received significant support, while Lily Gladstone’s groundbreaking win at the SAG Awards for Martin Scorsese’s Killers of the Flower Moon may bring enough momentum . To snatch victory amidst the heat of voting. And we should not count out the role played by Sandra Holler in the French legal thriller “Anatomy of a Fall”, which split the votes between the international members with Stone, paving the way for Gladstone’s rise.

Greta Gerwig’s “Barbie” received a lukewarm reception at the guild awards, though she appears to be the favorite in the original song category, with Billie Eilish and Finneas’ Grammy-winning “What Was I Made For.” In a position to claim the prize.
