Stranger Things star Gaten Matarazzo shares the “absurd” change he’ll be making to the Netflix series


Gaten Matarazzo shares thoughts on what he would change Weird things The series ends after five seasons.

During a panel appearance at Mega Con Orlando, Matarazzo was asked what changes he would make to the show.

“It may seem chaotic but we should be killing more people,” Matarazzo told the fan. “This show would be so much better if the stakes were so much higher, like at any moment, any of these kids could get the better of him. I feel like we’re all pretty safe.”

Matarazzo played Dustin Henderson throughout the series of the Duffer Brothers-created show, which began in 2016.

In 2022, Maya Hawke, who plays Robin Buckley on the sci-fi series, also commented on her character having a “hero moment” for the final season.

“I would love to die and have my hero moment,” she said. Rolling Stone on time. “I would like to die with honour, as any actor would. But I love the way the Duffer Brothers love their actors. The reason they write so beautifully for me and for everyone is that they fall in love with their actors and their characters, and they don’t want to kill them. I think that’s a beautiful quality of theirs, I do not wish to get rid of it.”

Throughout the series’ history, many beloved characters have not made it, such as Shannon Purser’s Barb in season one or Eddie Munson who played Joseph Quinn in season four.
