What could be so wrong with the SEC and its employees?!
Several hours after the incident, they talk about the investigation into the incident and the fact that they need the FBI’s help in the matter. Maybe the technical/IT staff at the SEC should look for another job and their managers retire, as they can’t be trusted to protect investors, if they can’t protect their Twitter account. The SEC must now know exactly what happened and who is responsible for the incident. Maybe the FBI should take a look at the ultimate market manipulation being conducted from the offices of the SEC and under the watchful eye of those who should prevent such things from happening. The FBI should not waste resources investigating the simple matter of someone sending an unauthorized Twitter message, as that should be the job of SEC staff and directors to keep things under control in their offices and not the job of the FBI!
