Pokemon Go players reveal the most ‘spoiler’ PokeStops they’ve visited

Pokemon Go players have spoken out about their strangest visits to PokeStops during their time playing the game, which has spawned a whole heap of shocking PokeStops.

PokeStops have proven to be a vital part of Pokemon Go since the game was first released, with players often encountering varying amounts of stops each time they play.

Whether it’s rotating them to complete quest quests or simply to refill items and poke balls in a mobile game, the closer and further around your location the better.

Now, players have shared their most ‘messy’ and weirdest encounters at PokeStops they’ve visited while playing.

Pokemon Go player Happysolomon opened a can of worms by asking: “What’s the most weird/confusing/confusing PokeStops you’ve visited?”

“So far, my game has been kind of boring, but I was hanging around the Church of Scientology in Los Angeles one time so I could send postcards to all my friends from there,” the player added. It quickly gained traction as many revealed their strange encounters.

Many others followed suit with their stories and strange experiences they had on the road with Pokemon Go: “There’s a station in my city called ‘Triangle,’ which is literally a statue of three naked people forming a triangle.”

While some players have given examples of PokeStops, they have avoided them due to the controversy surrounding them. These included those containing statues of ancient politicians or monuments to historical events.

Another even shared that much like the original poster, they “live across the street from the Scientology site and can swing by my apartment. Maybe some of my friends I don’t know IRL think I’m a member.”

With millions of players playing Pokemon Go regularly, this is just a drop in the ocean. There have been several annoying PokeStops that have gone viral, including one that asks players to “scan out toddlers.”
