Megyn Kelly slammed Taylor Swift for making the “wrong move” by not being a good sport about Joe Kooy’s Travis Kelce joke at the 2024 Golden Globe Awards.
The evening’s host talked about how the awards show shows “less camera footage” of the pop star than weekly NFL games, prompting Swift to glare at Koy.
“Can’t she show she’s a good sport? I think she made the wrong move,” Kelly said on her SiriusXM show, adding that his zinger was a “nice jab.”
“By the way, she’s not responsible for how many times the NFL chooses to put her on camera. It’s not her fault,” she continued.
“It’s annoying, and if she was smart she would laugh like it was a joke.”
Kelly, 53, said that if she had been Swift’s “adviser” she would have recommended that she agreed to the jibe to show she understood that the NFL’s filmmaking decisions were “a little big.”
“(Her facial expression) looked like how dare she question me and my popularity,” Kelly said.
The “Karma” singer, 34, slowly sipped champagne after the stand-up comedian’s joke and continued her girls’ night out with Selena Gomez and Kelly Sperry – but ultimately left the party early in the finale after losing out to Barbie in the box office category.

Although Swift didn’t stay for the entire show, she and her friends caused a whirlwind of controversy when what appeared to be a lively gossip session was recorded.
A popular viewer theory claimed the Only Murders in the Building star was discussing how she couldn’t get a photo with Kylie Jenner’s boyfriend, Timothée Chalamet, and lip reader Jeremy Freeman confirmed it.
Freeman was able to decipher the whispered conversation, claiming that Gomez went up to Swift and Sperry and said, “He didn’t want a picture with me. He said no.”
“Timothy?” Sperry, who is married to Miles Teller, apparently explained, to which Gomez responded with a nod.
While the “Cats” actress was stunned by the revelation, Sperry’s verbal reaction remained unclear.
However, a source close to the “Calm Down” singer denied the claim that Gomez, 31, was talking about the affectionate couple.
