Kate Snow will step down as anchor of the Sunday edition of NBC Nightly News, and will focus on the daytime newscast and the role of correspondent.


Kate Snow is stepping down from her position as presenter NBC Nightly News On Sunday, the focus will be on the days of the week NBC News Daily And her role as a senior national correspondent.

Snow announced on tonight’s broadcast that she will anchor another Sunday next week. No successor has been named, with anchors rotating in the meantime.

“I loved being with you every Sunday night,” Snow told viewers at the end of tonight’s broadcast. “It was a privilege.” NBC News Daily’s audience was “growing rapidly, and I have decided after much consideration to focus my attention Monday through Friday on this role,” she said.

Since 2022 she has been involved in anchoring NBC News Daily, a daytime news program broadcast on the broadcast network and broadcast on NBC News Now. Snow is lying alongside Zinhle Essamuah from 2 to 4 PM ET every weekday. I will continue to report to NBC Nightly News And other news section programs.
