“I, a grown woman, can’t remember the last time I bought a box of tissues for my house. (Even though I have several bags?!) Maybe it was when I recently had a sinus infection, which I believe was caused by two causes – more than Years. But now that I’m playing house as an adult in an apartment of my own, I’m trying to be *responsible.* So obviously buying that weird tissue box cover we featured in a million BuzzFeed shopping posts is peak adulthood.
Maybe the reason I’m so bad at keeping a tissue box is because tissues look kind of ugly out in the open. But not with this little cover! Now it’s a ~design element~ that I hope I remember to keep full. Right now, it’s filled with a square box of tissues that I dug out of my old apartment closet while packing; It is currently housed neatly inside the lid of a tissue box, providing the “smoke” for the little chimney. The only downside to sticking with this box is that I’ll only have to buy square tissue boxes now. But I can live with that. And my nose is not snotty.”
