Former A3 agents Marinor Madrilejo and Emma Clarke are leaving Gersh three months after the takeover

Exclusive: There’s a lot of traffic from agents who used to work at A3 Artists Agency.

A pair of agents – Mariner Madrilejo and Emma Clark – who joined Gersh from A3 after the former acquired the latter in a deal in January, are now leaving the agency founded by Phil Gersh.

Madrilejo was vice president of digital and Clark was an agent in the digital and alternative programming division.

Madrilejo was previously a senior agent in A3’s Alternative Programming, Digital Media, Licensing and Branding division, having spent more than eight years at the company. It is understood that she will leave the acting business.

Clark spent four years at A3 including nearly three of them as an agent in the alternate division. It is believed that Clarke will move to the management side of the company at an agency specializing in digital representation.

Also joining Clark on the administrative side is coordinator Carly Fell, who spent two years at A3 before joining Gersh.

It comes after A3 sold its digital and alternative divisions to Gersh, which saw 25 agents and around 45 additional staff move to Gersh. This included Jade Sherman, who leads its digital business, and Alec Shankman who oversees options alongside senior agent and partner Debra Goldfarb.

Other big clients who have gone there include Keith Bellory, Mark Turner, Melissa DeMarco, Sam Schmidt, Jared Thompson and Matt Sorger.

However, a month later, on February 9, Deadline broke the news that A3 would be closing its doors for good with Chief Operating Officer Todd Quinn telling employees that “despite our best efforts, we find ourselves unable to continue operating in a sustainable manner.” .
