Actors and creators from eight Oscar-nominated films sat down for a wide-ranging discussion about the craft that went into making the movies now that the Academy Awards are set to open on March 10.
The diverse panels included the gamut of Best Picture nominees Moonflower Killers, Retainers And Anatomy of a fall To documentaries such as Bobi Wine: The people’s president, to kill a tiger And Nai Nai and Wai Pohistorical epic Napoleon And animation racist.
Commission included Napoleon costume designers Janty Yates and David Crossman and production designer Arthur Max; retained Stars Paul Giamatti, Davenjoy Randolph, director Alexander Payne, writer-producer David Hemmingson and producer Mark Johnson; moon flower Cinematographer Rodrigo Brito, production designer Jack Fisk, set designer Adam Willis, producer Daniel Lupe and songwriter Scott George; Ni Nai and Wai Po Director Xun Wang and his subjects Yi Yanfui and Zhang Lihu; Bobi WineDirector and Producer Christopher Sharp and DoP Director Musa Buyo; racist Director Peter Sohn; To kill the tiger Helmer Nisha Pahuja and editor Mike Moon; And Anatomy of a fallCo-writer Arthur Harari and producer Marie-Ange Luciani.
