Alicia Keys belts out “Kaleidscope” from the Broadway play “Hell’s Kitchen.”


Alicia Keys has released her own version of the original song “Kaleidscope” from her Broadway musical Hell’s Kitchen. The recording also features vocals by Malih Joy Moon, who portrays a 17-year-old character based on minor keys in the semi-autobiographical musical.

The song, which is available on all streaming platforms, will be performed by Keys and the cast on Friday The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon On NBC.

Hell’s Kitchenwhich debuted Off-Broadway at the Public Theater last year, begins previews at the Shubert Theater on Broadway on Thursday, March 28, with an opening night scheduled for Saturday, April 20.

The musical was created by Keys, who wrote the music and lyrics, and Christopher Diaz wrote the book. Michael Greif directs the choreography and Camille A. Brown.

The new song, announced today by AKW Productions, was produced by Brian Isaac and Keys, and co-produced by Adam Blackstone. It was released via Alicia Keys Records.
