Adele announced that she will be canceling her Las Vegas residency through March, revealing that she is suffering from illness.
The singer wrote, in a post on social media, that she fell ill at the end of the last series of performances within the residency, and she did not have full time to recover. “Unfortunately, I have to put my Vegas residency on pause,” she wrote. “I was sick at the end of the last stage and throughout the break. I didn’t have a chance to get back to full health before the shows resumed, and now I’m feeling sick again, and unfortunately it’s all affected my voice.
She continued: “And so based on doctors’ orders, I have no choice but to have complete rest. The remaining five weekends of this phase will be postponed to a later date. We are already working on the details and the information will be sent to you as soon as possible.”
