Taylor Swift’s New York City home has apparently been the target of another attempted break-in, this time by a man who was arrested near the singer’s Tribeca home.

NEW YORK — Taylor Swift’s New York City home appears to have been the target of another attempted break-in, this time by a man who was arrested near the singer’s Tribeca home on Saturday when police responded to a report. From an unorganized person.

The New York Post reported that witnesses said the man tried to enter the house in the early afternoon but failed.

Police did not confirm the attempted break-in at Swift’s home, but officers arrested a man on the same street when they were told he tried to open a building door, an NYPD spokesman said Sunday. The man was charged under an unrelated arrest warrant issued in 2017 out of Brooklyn for allegedly failing to respond to a subpoena, the spokesman said.

The authorities did not reveal the man’s name.

An email seeking comment was sent Sunday to a representative for the “You Belong With Me” singer. It was not clear if she was home at the time. On Sunday, she traveled to the Buffalo, New York, area, where her boyfriend, Kansas City Chiefs running back Travis Kelce, was scheduled to play against the Buffalo Bills in an NFL playoff game in the evening.

The Tribeca townhouse has been the scene of numerous break-ins and other attempts when Swift wasn’t around, including some alleged stalkers.

In 2022, a man was charged with trespassing and stalking after authorities said he entered two Tribeca residences linked to Swift. Also that year, a man was arrested for ramming his car into the house, reportedly telling police he wouldn’t leave until he met Swift.

In 2018, another man broke into her home and took a nap, police said. The same man was charged a year later with breaking into the building again after serving his prison sentence.

Police say alleged stalkers were also arrested at some of her other homes, including homes in Beverly Hills, California, and Watch Hill, Rhode Island.
