Brett Goldstein is set to make a guest appearance in the second season of Shrinking on Apple TV+. diverse to learn.

The role will see Goldstein appear in front of the camera on the series, which he co-created and executive produces. Details of the character he will be playing in “Shrinking” are being kept under wraps.

Goldstein broke out in his role in the Apple TV+ series “Ted Lasso,” where he starred as Roy Kent while also serving as a writer and eventual co-executive producer. He won two consecutive Emmy Awards for his work on the show. His other acting credits include “Thor: Love and Thunder,” “Doctor Who,” and “Superbob,” which he also co-wrote.

He is repped by WME, Mosaic and Hansen Jacobson in the US, as well as B-Side Management and LARK in the UK.

“Shrinking” Season 2 is currently in production. Goldstein co-created the series with Bill Lawrence, creator of “Ted Lasso,” as well as Jason Segel, who stars in “Shrinking.” The three are executive producers alongside Neil Goldman, James Ponsoldt, Randall Winston, Jeff Ingold, Lisa Katzer, Rachna Froshbaum, Brian Gallivan, and Annie Mebane. Warner Bros. Television produces, where Lawrence and Goldstein are under overall deals.

Along with Siegel, Shrinking stars Harrison Ford, Jessica Williams, Christa Miller, Luketa Maxwell, Michael Urie, Luke Tenney and Ted McGinley. Both Segel and Williams received Emmy nominations for the first season, which debuts in January 2023.

Segel stars in the series as “grieving therapist Jimmy, who begins breaking the rules and telling his clients exactly what he thinks. Disregarding his training and ethics, he finds himself making huge, disruptive changes in people’s lives… including his own life,” according to the official description.
