CNN is adding a rerun of the HBO series on Saturday Real Time with Bill Maher On his agenda starting this week.
The replay will air at 8 p.m. ET.
The show airs on HBO on Friday evenings, but CNN has been adjusting its weekend schedule. It’s the latest piece of corporate synergy between Warner Bros. Networks. Discovery.
“The addition of… Real Time with Bill Maher to CNN’s prime-time weekend lineup marks the beginning of the commitment and investment in topical entertainment programming we bring to the weekends. “We’ve seen audiences enjoy Bill’s perspective and approach to news and information, and we look forward to bringing the show now on CNN.”
CNN is already on the air Real time overtime, featuring an extended online chat on Friday evenings. These clips will be retired although overtime clips will remain available on YouTube.
HBO recently renewed Real Time for two additional seasons through 2026.
