David Benioff, DB Weiss Share Why Barack Obama Turned Down a Role in ‘The Three Body Problem’

Benioff told USA Today that they made the request after learning that Obama was a huge fan of the original novel: “He actually signed a very funny note when we tried to get him to play a small role.
