“Killers of the Flower Moon,” “Barbie” and “The Holdovers” were among the winning films at the 39th Annual Casting Society Artios Awards.

The ceremony honors the best actors in film, television and theater of the year. The festivities were held in person for the first time in three years, in Los Angeles and New York City, with hosts Niecy Nash Bates and comedian Alex Edelman split emcee duties between the two cities. There was also a Directors’ Casting Ceremony in London.

With the recent addition of a casting Oscar, the night was certainly a celebration. Starting in 2026, there will be an award for Best Achievement in Casting, the culmination of a decades-long recognition campaign.

Ava DuVernay received the Lynn Stalmaster of the Year Career Achievement Award.
