“Midnights” fans, rejoice: “Maroon” is one of four bonus acoustic songs included in the Disney+ version of “Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour.”
At the end of the trailer that Disney+ dropped on Monday, the first few notes of “Maroon” can be heard, revealing that the track is one of the surprise soundtrack songs included in the streaming version of the concert film.
“Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour” will also premiere on Disney+ one day earlier than previously planned, on March 14 at 6 PM PT.
It was first announced in February that Disney+ would exclusively stream the box office hit, with Puck reporting that the deal was worth more than $75 million. At the time, it was also revealed that the expanded edition would include the “Folklore” song “Cardigan”, as well as four acoustic songs. This was a big deal for Swift’s fans, as five songs were cut from the regular setlist for the time in the two-hour, 45-minute film.
Since “Eras Tour” was filmed during Swift’s three-night residency at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles, other bonus tunes included are expected to be the three remaining acoustic “surprise songs” she sang: “Death by a Thousand Cuts,” “You’re in love” and “I can see you”.
“Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour” grossed $261.7 million at the global box office after its debut on October 13, making it the highest-grossing concert film to date.
