MPSE Golden Reel Awards: Oppenheimer double winner; ‘Maestro’ and ‘Across The Spider-Verse’ Also Receive Movie Awards – Full List


Oppenheimer, Maestro, Spider-Man: Through the Spider-Verse And Snow Association The film was among the big winners at the 71st Motion Picture Editors’ Golden Reel Awards, which were handed out Sunday night at the Wilshire Ebelle Theater in Los Angeles. See the full list below.

First Oscar nominee Oppenheimer From Universal it took home two Outstanding Film Awards — Outstanding Achievement in Sound Editing — Outstanding Dialogue/ADR and Outstanding Effects/Foley, while its colleague received the Academy Award for Best Picture Artist, band leader From Netflix, it won the Music Editing Award for Featured Motion Picture.

Sony’s animated film is nominated for an Oscar Spider-Man: Through the Spider-Verse, which dominated the Annie Awards, took home the award for Outstanding Achievement in Sound Editing – Featured Animation. And Snow Association He went home with the Foreign Language Advantage Trophy.

“What makes this event so special is that we come together from all over the world as a healthy community to celebrate each other,” said David Barber, newly elected MPSE president. “We celebrate each other’s art and each other’s accomplishments. MPSE members are an extremely passionate and giving group of audio enthusiasts who embody the meaning of ‘community.’
