‘SNL’: Glen Powell makes a sketch to steal Sidney Sweeney away from her boyfriend


Sidney Sweeney was unable to host Saturday Night Live Without Glen Powell appearing.

Fortunately, there were two. The first came during Sweeney’s monologue, when she jokingly addressed rumors that she and Powell, her co-star in the sitcom, were in the mix. Anyone but youShe was in a romantic relationship, despite her engagement.

She spoke affectionately about her fiancé and asked the cameras to turn to him, so that Powell would appear on screen.

The rom-com power couple made another joke about their chemistry during the final scene of the night, with Sweeney playing a woman on a date who kept getting interrupted by rude patrons at a restaurant.

When they finally had a quiet moment, Sweeney told him: “I cheated on you with my boss and I think we should break up.”

Enter Powell, playing said president. “Oh baby cake,” he says. “Do you want to get out of here?”

And they are out!
