He ordered Prime Video Lazarus (working title), a limited series from Quay Street Productions, producers of the hit Netflix series He cheated on me once, Starring Sam Claflin (Daisy Jones and the Six)Bill Nighy (living) And Alexandra Roach (Killing Eve).
Based on the original story idea he wrote Fool me once Author Harlan Coben and Danny Brocklehurst, Lazarus The film is about a man who returns home after his father’s suicide and begins to have disturbing, inexplicable experiences. He soon becomes embroiled in a series of cold-case murders as he grapples with the mystery of his father’s death and the murder of his sister 25 years ago.
The series is scheduled to be broadcast exclusively on Prime Video in more than 240 countries and territories around the world.
Claflin, who also serves as executive producer, plays Laz, a highly respected forensic psychologist who has spent his entire life running from the pain of his past. Only now when he returns home does he finally have to face it.
Nighy portrays Dr. Lazarus (Dr. L). Psychologist and father of Laz, Jenna and Sutton. He is a beloved figure in his community, sharing his son’s charm, dry sense of humor, and charisma. In death, he wants his son to understand that they are more alike than Laz thinks.
Roach plays Jenna Lazarus. Since her sister Jenna’s murder, she has buried herself in a world of spiritual practice, but now when her brother returns home and begins experiencing unexplained phenomena, she is forced to confront secrets from her past.
