Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League free DLC includes a playable Joker

The Joker, the infamous Clown Prince of Chaos, has been confirmed to appear not only in Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League. But he will also be a playable character.

In the third and final developer diary series for Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League, Rocksteady Studios announced post-launch content plans for its upcoming game ahead of its release date. The studio has detailed the roadmap for the first season of DLC, which will be released sometime in March.

Some of the additional content in Season 1 includes new boss fights and enemy variants, a new Joker-inspired gameplay environment, and two new episodes with new activities, quests, and strongholds to take part in.

Three additional seasons of Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League are planned, according to Rocksteady. Each season will introduce a new playable character and a new gameplay environment, among other things such as new weapons and activities.

The highlight of the first season is that the Joker will be a new playable character. Fans of Rocksteady’s Arkhamverse games will likely be confused by this idea, given that the upcoming game is set five years after the deaths of Batman: Arkham Knight and the Joker from that trilogy. However, this is different from the Joker we saw in those games; Rather, this Joker was pulled from another dimension based on the Elseworld comics.

“The original Arkhamverse Joker has been dead for five years, but this is a new Elseworlds twist on the villain,” Rocksteady studio director Darius Sadeghian said in the developer notes. While Johnny Armstrong, associate design director at Rocksteady, revealed that this Joker “was part of a suicide squad in the other world he’s in, which really shows that he’s a little more cooperative than the previous Joker we had” before he teased that this Joker ” troubled”. in another way.”

Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League will be released on February 2 for PC, PS5, and Xbox Series For more, check out our hands-on preview.
