A new poll shows Floridians are still concerned about property insurance


WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. – A new poll of Florida voters finds many are still concerned about insurance reform.

The Florida Center for Political Strategy poll found that 21% of voters said insurance was a big issue and 23% of voters found inflation to be an important issue facing the state.

Insurance consumer advocate Tasha Carter shares how two insurance companies submitted proposals to lower their overall rates.

It also revealed that 55% believe Republicans and Democrats are not doing enough to lower insurance costs.

The poll of 988 registered voters was conducted in the first week of January.

The Florida insurance consumer advocate said she hears from people every day about insurance.
