A new era is on the horizon at Barstool Sports.

Erika Ayers will leave her position as CEO, The Post has learned.

Ayers (née Nardini), 48, started Barstool in 2016, shortly after it was acquired by the Chernin Group for $15 million, leading the company through a massive expansion in headcount, revenue and significance, leading to its acquisition by PENN Entertainment For a total of more than $500 million, but was sold back to founder Dave Portnoy for $1 after the irreverent brand proved to be a liability to state gambling regulators.

A former AOL executive, she also previously served on the WWE Board of Directors.

Ayers and Barstool founder Dave Portnoy could not immediately be reached for comment
