Rebel Wilson shares an honest message about weight regain while wearing a swimsuit


Rebel Wilson She candidly shared that she’s regained some of the weight she recently lost and opened up about the mixed emotions she’s experiencing as a result.

“Working really hard meant that, due to all the stress, I gained 14kg (30lbs),” she captioned an Instagram post on January 15. “It makes me feel bad about myself…it shouldn’t…but it does.”

Wilson revealed that her hectic work schedule contributed to her weight gain. “It was too much and I lost focus on my healthy lifestyle,” she wrote.

But she ended her message on a positive note, adding: “I’m really proud of the work I’ve done on my new films and memoir.”

TODAY.com previously reported that the “Bridesmaids” actress lost 77 pounds in what she called her “year of health” in 2020. She documented her progress and shared the ups and downs of maintaining her weight loss. Walking helped her stay active, and she appreciated being able to do it anywhere, which was important because of her filming schedule.

“It’s just about keeping your body moving and keeping your blood pumping,” she told TODAY in 2021. “I feel like people sometimes think you need to train your body hard to get results, and yes, if you are training you will be the best.” Next Thor or something, you might do hardcore stuff, but as a normal person, walking is very healthy for you. “The body is designed to move this way.”

In the past, Wilson said she focused on developing healthy habits rather than a specific goal weight and practiced being kind to herself.

It’s more about saying, ‘Okay, I’ll do this for me.’ … Try things throughout the year, different positive, healthy lifestyle habits, and see what results you get. Wilson has previously confronted his weight gain on social media.

“I’m at a wonderful all-inclusive resort. “I have lost all control of myself,” she wrote on Instagram in July 2022. But do you know what? I can wake up tomorrow, go to the gym, drink fluids, eat healthy, and love myself.

She added that it is not a number on the scale.

“If you’re like me, know that you are more than just your weight,” she said.
