This was revealed by Masimo on Monday, which said US Customs and Border Protection approved the change on January 12. The agency determined that “Apple’s redesign falls outside the scope” of the US International Trade Commission’s import ban, suggesting that the amendment would allow Apple to keep its Watches on the market.
