Mia Goth is accused of kicking the MaXXXine actress in the head

An actor filed a lawsuit against Mia Goth on Friday, alleging that she intentionally kicked him in the head during a scene last April.

James Hunter claims he suffered a concussion after being kicked by Goth during production of the A24 sequel “MaXXXine”. The film is the third in a trilogy of horror films directed by Ti West and starring Goth, after “X” and “Pearl,” both of which were released in 2022.

Hunter states in the lawsuit that he was hired for three days of work to play the role of a “dead parishioner.” On the first night of shooting, he lay on the ground for several hours covered in fake blood, “enduring ants and mosquitoes.”

In the scene, Goth had to run after him, sometimes pass him, look down and keep running.

In the fourth shot, the goth nearly stepped on him, the suit alleges. Hunter complained to the second assistant director and the concern was conveyed to Guth.

In the next shot, according to the suit, Guth intentionally kicked him in the head with her shoe. After the scene was completed, Hunter claimed he was in the bathroom when Goth walked in and “taunted him and taunted him and taunted him,” and dared him to do something about it.

Hunter felt a pain in his head. The fake blood also dried on his robe, causing him pain when he removed it, according to the lawsuit.

On his way home, he felt dizzy and had to stop twice. The next day, the casting agency informed him that the production team did not want him back for the remaining two days, according to the lawsuit.

The lawsuit accuses Goth of battery and also includes a wrongful termination claim against A24, Goth, and West.
