Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift are planning to get engaged in the summer after postponing the holiday season for fear it would look like “rushed madness,” according to reports.
Rumors of Kelsey popping the question to Swift first began circulating at the beginning of last month, with much speculation surrounding whether the Kansas City Chiefs star would propose to his girlfriend on her 34th birthday — which fell on December 13.
When that didn’t materialize, The Messenger reported that Travis wouldn’t be getting down on one knee anytime soon despite fans asking him to make things official with the pop sensation.
However, this summer may not be so harsh for these fans after all.
According to Page Six, there’s a feeling in Swift’s inner circle that she’s planning to get engaged to Kelsey this summer.

“Taylor and Travis have discussed it and there is a plan,” an insider was quoted as saying.
There is reportedly buzz that the pair will get engaged on their one-year anniversary in July, after they first met a few months before Swift attended her first Chiefs game in September.
The singer-songwriter revealed in an interview with Time magazine that they started hanging out after Kelsey admitted that he tried and failed to give her his phone number on his New Heights podcast in July.
“We started hanging out right after that,” she said. “We spent a lot of time that no one knew about, which I’m grateful for, because we got to know each other.”
“I think some people think they saw our first date in that match. We’ll never be psychotic enough to start a first date seriously.”

The football star is also feeling the pressure ahead of Valentine’s Day, after briefly mentioning the pressure that comes with trying to find the right gift for his girlfriend while executing an ad for e-commerce company Etsy in his latest episode of New Heights.
“Whether you’re feeling stressed out on Valentine’s Day like (brother) Jason and I are,” Kelsey admitted, “or trying to figure out the right gift for your significant other, Etsy is the go-to place for adding that special touch.”
