As we said, we are investing responsibly in our company’s biggest priorities and next big opportunities. In order to best position us for these opportunities, a number of our teams made changes throughout the second half of 2023 to become more efficient and perform better, and to align their resources with their biggest product priorities. Some teams continue to make these types of organizational changes, which include eliminating some roles globally. We’re continuing to support any affected employees as they search for new roles here at Google and beyond.
It’s also helpful to know/include that affected employees will all be able to apply for open roles via Google. We are also supporting all affected employees, in line with local requirements, including time to explore different roles at Google and elsewhere, external recruitment services, and severance offers.
