Every January, technology companies and members of the press head to Las Vegas for a festival of demos and concepts. There’s a lot to see at CES 2024, but many of the products revealed at the show won’t be available in stores for much later, if ever. While flashy tech promotions are sure to attract attention during the event, CES has a long history of delayed launches and steamy software. Fortunately for us, there are a lot of useful technologies that are not yet ready to hit digital and physical store shelves.
All products below are available to pre-order or purchase now. From clicky iPhone keyboards to clever indoor meat smokers, here are the best CES 2024 products available now. While you’re here, these are our favorites at CES so far, and here are the strangest gadgets at the show.
This whole house battery from portable power professionals EcoFlow, the Delta Pro Ultra Power Station delivers up to 21.6 kW of output and can be detached from your smart panel to take on the go – whether that’s plugging in your RV or just turning it off for a bit – Mesh compartment in the forest. They’re lithium-ion phosphate batteries on wheels and are among the most innovative power technologies we’ve seen at CES 2024. The CNET team at CES described them as a “Tesla Powerwall on wheels.” You can order it now, and orders will start shipping on January 9th.
If you’ve ever dreamed of having a personal assistant to do tasks for you, like pre-orders, you’ll be excited about the Rabbit R1 A1, which — according to CNET’s Lisa Eadicicco — essentially “swaps apps for a system operating device that can learn how to use apps for you.” ” You can use it mainly through voice commands and it launches apps on your phone for you. It is currently available for pre-order to ship in mid-March. The price point is $199.
This unique Y-shaped toothbrush claims to clean all your teeth in just 20 seconds. Basically, you put the whole thing in your mouth, bite down, press a button, and allocate ten seconds to each jaw (top and bottom teeth). Although it debuted at CES in 2017, it returns every year with variations. In the past, it has received mixed reviews from our CNET team, but over the years it has become more favorable. You can now get the 2023 model on Amazon.
Add a BlackBerry-style clickable keyboard to your iPhone with this new keyboard case from Clicks. Announced just before CES, Clicks for iPhone is already available for pre-order for the iPhone 14 Pro, iPhone 15 Pro, and iPhone 15 Pro Max with prices starting at $139. The first Clicks shipments will be released on February 1st.
Think charging accessories and Anker is likely the brand that comes to mind first. The company just unveiled a slew of new Qi 2-certified wireless charging products at CES, many of which are available for purchase now. From $22 wireless charging balls to magnetic battery packs and multi-device charging docks, there’s plenty of new gear on offer.
The Lily 2 is an updated version of Garmin’s trendy watch with added tracking features. Its key additions include Garmin’s Sleep Scores function as well as five additional sports apps, including a dance fitness mode. You can order the Garmin Lily 2 now.
The HP Omen Transcend 14 is a gaming laptop that’s light enough for everyday carry, yet very powerful with up to an Intel Core Ultra 9 185H and up to an Nvidia GeForce RTX 4070. It’s designed around a 14-inch 2.8K OLED display with a 48-120 variable refresh rate Hz. It’s available for pre-order now for $1,520 and should ship on February 21st.
Smoke your meats year-round with GE’s recently announced smart indoor smoker. This unique cooker uses wood pellets and keeps the smoke inside its tightly sealed chamber to achieve the taste of barbecue without releasing fumes into your home. Smart app integrations provide remote control and monitoring, plus dozens of recipes.
Need to expand your laptop with some fast external storage? OWC just unveiled the second-generation version of its ThunderBlade system, ThunderBlade It costs $1,750 for the 8TB model and $2,750 for the 16TB model, and both are available now, with a 32TB version also in the works.
Stargazers can already order Unistellar’s new Odyssey and Odyssey Pro telescopes, which were announced this week at CES. While it’s certainly not cheap, it’s more attainable than the brand’s EVscope 2, which costs around $5,000. With the addition of automatic autofocus and pixel binning technology, the new scopes take a lot of the hassle out of astronomy and solar system photography. Just note that only the Odyssey Pro has an optical viewfinder, while the Odyssey requires you to use the companion app.
The Evovle Mvmt is an ankle band launched at CES that’s all about measuring how you walk rather than how much you move each day, with the aim of reducing the impact on your joints. If you’re not satisfied with the current crop of fitness trackers and pedometers on the market, it might be for you, though it’s certainly not cheap at $499.
