The North Carolina Department of Insurance (NCDOI) has appointed John Homany as Chief Operating Officer.
Homany has served as the department’s general counsel since 2017. During his 20-year tenure in North Carolina state government, he held various legal positions.
In 2012, he was the owner of Hoomani Law, a firm he founded with Sean Cole in 2011.
Commenting on Homani’s appointment, NCDOI Commissioner Mike Causey says, “I have every confidence in John and know that he will continue his excellent record of service in the years ahead.”
