Why did Satoshi Nakamoto randomly send 26 Bitcoin?

Recently, an anonymous user sent 26 bitcoins to the pseudonymous Bitcoin creator, Satoshi Nakamoto’s wallet, raising speculation about the purpose of transferring more than $1 million in digital assets.

Given that the current price of Bitcoin is $44,239, this equates to $1.15 million.

However, US attorney Jeremy Hogan speculated on X (formerly Twitter), that the move was in an attempt to force Satoshi Nakamoto to reveal his identity.

Recently implemented regulations by the Internal Revenue Services (IRS) in the United States mandate the reporting of any cryptocurrency transaction exceeding $10,000. This includes providing names and addresses within 15 days of receiving the transaction.
