It is known that the title of Vignesh Shivan’s upcoming movie is For you (Love insurance company) and stars actor-director Pradeep Ranganathan and Krithi Shetty in the lead roles. The film, which was released in December last year, also stars SJ Suryah in a pivotal role.
It now appears that the film has run into trouble with a notice being sent to the makers, including Vignesh Shivan and Seven Screen Studio, on behalf of Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC) – the insurance and investment company – banning them from using the film’s title. The notice also warned that if they failed to change the title within seven days, legal action would be taken against them for copyright infringement.
The phone makers are yet to respond to the notice and are yet to provide an explanation on the same.
It is worth noting that For you This will be the first time that Vignesh, Pradeep and Krithi will work with each other. The film will be backed by Seven Screen Studio and Rowdy Pictures. Notably, Vignesh and Seven Screen Studio worked earlier Kathuvakula Rindu Kadal.
music for For you It will be scored by Anirudh Ravichander, a regular collaborator of the director. The film will also star comedian Yogi Babu in the lead role. The technical crew consists of Pradeep Raghav as editor and cinematographer Ravi Varman.
